Item: Drymax Socks

Okay this pair of socks set me back by $19 (with Safra it's additional 10% off so it ended up being 17+ bucks). I took 10 whole minutes standing there to consider whether to buy or not, and which brand to buy. Should I buy a lousy looking one for $12? Or should I get the Drymax Socks for Hot Weather that cost $29 which feels uber good to the touch?

In the end I decided to just get the one in between. Expensive for a pair of socks? Sure is. But I think it's okay. I only need one pair anyway. Today was my second run with it. It feels great. There's almost no friction at all, unlike my Adidas one.

Interest(ing): Duct Tape - Saviour Of All Soldiers

http://lifehacker.com/5478624/a-celebration-of-duct-tape-our-favorite-duct-tape-diys

Any soldier or ex-soldier will recognise this. It's all too familiar (though we aren't so hard core to use duct tape).

It's the ultimate item. It's on par with the final quest item you have to get at the end of a RPG (except we get it at the start) and it seems to have infinite ways of using it to deal with things.

Lo and behold, it is our black tape.

Admit it, we celebrate it, we're forced to use it, we can't live without it. The almighty power of the black tape allows us to use it for many different purposes, from taping blank attachments to taping loose ends of your backpack to taping the mouth of that faggot beside you who just can't stop blabbering nonsense. We love it so much that we restock it every so often.

I remember during BMT, my sergeants always say black tape can be used to solve everything. I didn't understand it, until one fine day. I realised that I had multiple cuts on my hands and legs due to outdoor training and I didn't bring plasters. You've guessed it, I used black tape. My commanders saw me and they were awed. I thought I did something wrong until they just kept laughing hysterically.

Black tape. The most powerful piece of item on the planet. When you're wearing green that is.

Ramblings: Doraemon Jigsaw Puzzle (3D)

Ain't this cute? I'll get one to put in my dorm next time. But it's expensive. The small one cost $40 over. I can't imagine how much the big one will cost.

Items: Key Chain, New Specs and Tea Tree Oil

This keychain was bought in Australia for 20 bucks. There's different types of stones available and this one is Hematite. The package wrote that it means "Unlimited Potential". Sounds cool. Its a bit heavy though.

Finally a new pair of spectacles after around 6 years. It cost me quite a bomb.

This small bottle of tea tree oil from Body Shop cost 15 bucks but it works wonders removing blemish and pimples from your face. Works as a disinfectant too.

Levis

So like, i finally managed to get a few friends to go out and help me pick the Levis jeans. I've got a 60 bucks voucher for buying my handphone last year and decided that i might as well spend it. I missed the chance when i got held back for lessons when some of my friends, including one that has good sense of fashion, went out for a movie earlier. So i had to make do with the ones yesterday. Haha. But its really better than shopping myself. Firstly i have absolutely no sense of fashion. Secondly i'm very shy. Thirdly i don't know how to shop for expensive clothes. Yup, that's why i'm blogging about it. Cause this pair of jeans is the most expensive clothings i ever owned. It cost 70 bucks even after the voucher OH MY GOD!!! (alright, pardon me. i really know nothing about fashion nor do i care)

So luckily for my friends, i was able to make a wise choice. But i'm still sore over the fact that i couldn't buy the model 523 because i'm too thin!! Size 27 was ok even if i jumped but with a hard pull it will come off. It didn't look as good as size 28 either. However for size 28, a slight pull will make it come off. With promises from both my male and female friend to pull my pants off whenever they see me wear that, i had to buy 506 instead. Oh well, i will defintely buy it when i'm rich and have gotten fatter.
