Valentine's Day

In a few more minutes, i will have to wait for 365.25 days before i can ask you again, "can you be my valentine?"

Nope I'm not in love.

Didn't really feel any love today anyways though its supposed to be Friendship Day in Temasek Junior College.



The first line was just to remind people out there who failed to ask their crush the ultimate question. I have a few friends who wanted to thrash it out today (please don't expose who you are yourself since i have more than one friend who did that). There were many opinions, such as "make friends first mah, or u're gonna scare her away" or "today is valentine's day. how can u ask to be just friends?".


I don't have strong opinion since i have zero experience. But it came to my mind, that if you don't ask now, you probably have to wait for 365.25 days. Maybe that's why people say if you love someone, everyday is valentine's day... So that you can ask this question everyday, "Can you be my valentine?"

Yes yes, i know i should at least update once in a while. Though i never believed in things like "oh im sry guys that i cant update more frequently. i promise that i will blog more often". Its kind of bullshit. How do you know that people want to read your stupid blog? I'm not referring to anyone. Oops, i mean, i'm referring to EVERYONE. (almost everyone writes that, i think). Then again, i shouldn't let my blog rust and rot.

My life is so boring, who would want to know about it? Nonetheless, like Hong You said, J2 life is indeed very busy. And i am so glad that Mr Lim H.Y. my maths tutor is back. I can finally catch up in vectors.

Lately, Mr Calvin Tan side tracked and discussed about homosexuality. He mentioned that 10-15% of the population is homosexual... Meaning 1 in 10 people is gay. Maybe the one sitting beside you is one. Beware. Lol.

The final verdict is K618i, decided on a frustrated impulse. I felt that M1 was still better and i have doubts in the durability of the new generation Samsung Slim phones which are the best deals of Singtel. After much research, i realise that K618i may not be a music phone and it may not come with a pair of earphones. But like i said i bought it on impulse.

Frustration 1: i waited for the whole of 18-22 Dec offers to be over for the new offers to start only to realise that the new 23-29 Dec offers are the same
Frustration 2: Nokia 6230 looks too cheapo and Sony Ericsson Z610i's features isnt very good
Frustration 3: im not getting sponsored


So on the fateful 24 Dec, i went to get the K618i cause the advertisement says "free bluetooth headset worth $128".

I went to Compass Point they say dont have. Hougang Mall Arrow Communications say dont have. But i clearly remember the advertisement is Arrow Communications de. So i went back home and take the newspaper. I went to Hougang Mall's M1 shop and they said the K618is with bluetooth headset are sold out. Then i went to Hougang Central's Mobile shop which also advertised the same thing. The guy without a twitch said "You see it says while stock lasts. so sure no stock one. always like that one lah"

So i went back to Compass Point and queued for 45mins. And finally got my K618i. Lesson learnt, NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER trust the advertisement.

Its quite cool but its giving me some network problems. Oh well.

By the way my new hard disk is fixed. Yay.

SMS

A few days ago i went out with my usual gang. When we were going home, at the MRT, one of them mentioned about "SMS". He mentioned it quite a while before. And now that im reminded of it, I thought i would want to blog it down.

This "SMS" stands for Sudden Male Syndrome.

Im not flattered.


And then, another guy goes laughing and nodding his head. Another guy giggled and thought i didnt see it.


Funny.

If i really have SMS, that other than the times im having SMS, what do i act like? Sissy? Or maybe there's "normal" mode?

Competent jerk or lovable fool?

There are 4 types of people in a typical company: the competent jerk, the lovable fool, the lovable star and the incompetent jerk.

They researched in 4 types of companies and found that everyone wanted to work with a lovable star and nobody wants to work with an incompetent jerk. (duh~). But things got more interesting when people can only choose between competent jerk and lovable fool. Logically they should have choosen competent jerk right? But no, they chose lovable fool. Thus its shown that Quote "personal feelings played a more impt role in forming job-oriented friendship than is commonly acknowledged, even more impt than evaluations of competence."

I think i was somewhere between competent jerk and incompetent jerk back then. Or maybe just one of them.

I will choose lovable fool between lovable fool and competent jerk too.

Crash again

My computer crash, AGAIN. Second time in 2 months, while i was trying out some crack/hack cause i was too lazy to call up microsoft and ask for a serial code. Seriously i want to say "to *oppo-heaven* with microsoft" for such bo leow system but blog is public just in case they sue me. But trust me my Windows XP is genuine. It cost me $147 alright. I'll have to make do with my backup hard disk for now and think of how to stop that stupid f***ing hack from interfering with the bootup. Pissed.
