Its funny how we forget stuff. Important things. Just a few hours ago, I was with friends I grew up with. Well, not really grew up with, but at least i spent my teenage years with them. (okok, you guys are still teenagers, i'm already 20, old, an adult, sucks to be me) We were at Marina Square and incidentally, while walking past my favourite haunt (Starbucks), we spoke about how I dragged them to Sengkang's Starbucks instead of just going to Marina Square's while waiting for my fullness to subside.
Wait.
What did we do that day? Where did we go? What did we eat that made me feel so full? Was Yinning with us? Was it that day that Leonard bought his Topman jeans or was it that day that Edwin bought his berms? Or did both happen on the same day?
We couldnt remember. And soon enough, i was making up stories, based on my thought-so memories.
Scary, this thing call age. Then again, 19 year-old brats like my friends can't remember either. Memories are scary too. If you're not careful enough, you may be lying to yourself about what you did, and may not even be aware of it.
But still, some things can't be made up. Leonard said we can't even remember things that happened a few months ago, needless to say things that happened a few years ago. But I can remember clearly how I first met him and many others.
How I was in the same group as Leonard and was supposed to come up with a class cheer together but i ended up doing alone.
How I did my first duty at the spiral staircase as a prefect with Edwin and we were both too afraid to sit down while the principal was making her hour long opening speech.
How I had told Danny off while in the library and how he scolded me back.
How I was paired up with Jason to tidy up the fiction shelves in the library.
etc etc.
These probably can't be made up. Probably.

Marina Sq.
K box with Hui Qi and Edwin at 2pm. Leonard joined at 4pm.
I sang quite a few bitchy songs, all the English songs that Hui Qi picked had fake MTVs and the reverse is true for me.
Hui Qi left and we went to Home Fix.
Couldnt decide on what to eat but went to this jap pasta restaurant and spent a lot of time deciding on what to eat.
Spent a lot of time recalling what we ate the last time we came to Marina Sq.
Went outside to warm up, talking about having a chalet soon and recalling the past.
I had Starbucks and they had Belgium Waffles.
Went home after talking about army stuff.
Maybe will create a separate blog for this kinda thing, but too tired to do anything for now...
