My Xmi Xmini Max 1, due to my violent actions, has torn into this state. Although the sound quality of the minimax 1 is top notch, but I would say the build quality is rather bad. The surface gets scratched easily, fur and cotton gets stuck to it easily. Now it breaks up on me. Time to get the Xmi Xmini Max 2 which has a nice plastic coating (though it looks hideous). It's 79.90 bucks though...
